Section 17
Obligations of the person who writes the promissory note or accepts the negotiable instrument
The person who writes the affidavit or accepts the negotiable instrument must make the payment of the negotiable instrument submitted for payment after the payment date. If there is any loss or damage to the payee due to non-payment of such negotiable instrument, the person who writes the affidavit or accepts the negotiable instrument shall also pay the compensation in accordance with this Act.
